"Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark" Center of excellence in astronomical research and development for Thailand and Southeast Asia. A collection of arts, sciences, technology and related innovations. 1) Planetarium and exhibition - comprises a planetarium, equipped with digital FullDome DX4 with a 17-m diameter screen offering 160 seats capacity, complete with its interactive exhibition and NSM science square within the compound. 2) Public Observatory - The observatory compound consists of a 5.4-m clamshell dome made of fiberglass that fully opens to enable all-sky observations to the installed 0.7-m telescope. It also houses a sliding roof observatory that offers several other telescopes for public night viewing. 3) Multipurpose activity area - Walking and cycling paths around the park with opportunities to learn about astronomy from solar system models, as well as an activity plaza for astronomical and various outdoor activities. Open to the general public for relaxation and exercise.
