Khaolak Ethical Elephant Sanctuary (KES) is a community-based ethical haven for rescued elephants in southern Thailand. Founded to end riding, shows, and exploitation, the sanctuary offers visitors an immersive, responsible experience: walking alongside elephants in natural forest surroundings, preparing traditional herbal vitamin balls, and learning their rescue stories. Our mission combines animal welfare, sustainability, and local empowerment. Every visit directly supports elephant care, provides fair employment to local people, and funds community initiatives.
