Location and Boundaries: The Thong Pha Phum National Park headquarters is located at Moo 1, Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. It covers the Khao Chang Phueak and Huai Khayeng forest areas in Pilok, Tha Khanun, Huai Khayeng, Hin Dad, and Lin Thin subdistricts of Thong Pha Phum District, and Nong Lu and Prang Phlo subdistricts of Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province. The park has an area of ​​approximately 1,235.543 square kilometers, or approximately 772,214.27 rai. There are several important tourist attractions, including: 1. Neun Kood Doi - Neun Chang Phueak Viewpoint: Located within Thong Pha Phum National Park, Moo 1, Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, this is a campsite. The Neun Kood Doi - Neun Chang Phueak area has been leveled to accommodate individual tents, and can accommodate a large number of campers. Thong Pha Phum National Park provides campfire areas and various activities for tourists. There are separate, clean, and sufficient male and female restrooms. The surrounding area is rich in native trees such as various types of oak, bamboo, and several rare species. There are two viewing platforms: Neun Kood Doi and Neun Chang Phueak. These are considered the most beautiful spots to watch the sunrise and the sea of ​​mist in the morning. Neun Kood Doi - Neun Chang Phueak is approximately 300 meters from the Thong Pha Phum National Park headquarters and is accessible by car. 2. The Noen Kood Doi - Doi Tong Palae Nature Trail: Located within Thong Pha Phum National Park, Moo 1, Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, this is another beautiful viewpoint in Thong Pha Phum National Park. It is approximately 1,200 meters from the park headquarters. From the top, you can see Jokkradin Waterfall, the Thai-Myanmar border, E-Tong village, and it's a particularly stunning spot to watch the sunset. 3. Jokkradin Waterfall: Located within Thong Pha Phum National Park, Moo 1, Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province, this is a single-tiered waterfall. The water flows from a rock crevice into a pool before flowing into a stream. It is under the responsibility of Thong Pha Phum National Park. The name "Jokkradin" or "Kokkradan" is Burmese-Tavoy (where "Jok" or "Kok" means rock and "Kradan" means waterfall). The Thai pronunciation evolved into Jokkradin Waterfall. The water flows from its source through E-Pu village to Jokkradin Waterfall, approximately 5 kilometers long. During the rainy season, the water flows profusely and is very beautiful. Even during the dry season, the water continues to flow because the source originates from "Khao E-Pu Nai" (E-Pu Mountain) of the tungsten mine. In the past, this water source was a hot spring. Mining caused changes, and now the water is no longer hot. It is said that "anyone who bathes at Jokkradin Waterfall is like bathing in mineral water." 4. Khao Chang Phueak Long Distance Nature Trail: Location: Situated within Thong Pha Phum National Park, Moo 1, Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. Originally, Khao Chang Phueak was a humid evergreen forest due to its altitude of approximately 1,249 meters above sea level. It was a forest with many large trees. Later, gold mining took place at the foot of the mountain. The area around the river, which is now known as Jokkradin Waterfall, was where the mining operations began. Mine workers cut down large trees for use in supporting gutters, tunnels, dams, and shelters. This resulted in the mountain becoming an open forest. Each year, heavy rainfall caused soil erosion, creating a shape resembling a reclining elephant. When viewed from the left side of the reclining elephant, combined with the dry grasslands that appear white in the dry season, the locals named the mountain "Khao Chang Phueak" (White Elephant Mountain), a name that persists to this day.
