Mae Puem National Park is a natural tourist attraction, and therefore requires a management approach that integrates tourism with the conservation of the area's forest resources. Mae Puem Reservoir is a tourist attraction within the Mae Puem National Park Management Plan 2023-2027. The design of the buildings to facilitate tourists must be in harmony with nature and the environment. The design and construction of the buildings must be environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and include a standardized waste disposal system. Examples include office buildings, a tourist service center, a convenient kitchen, a welfare shop, tourist accommodations, washing facilities, and a garbage disposal area.
