EGAT Learning Center, Head Office is a large electric power exhibition building located on a potential location along the Chao Phraya River, covering an area of ​​over 6,000 square meters, connected to various forms of mass transportation and near the country's major power generation sources. The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) aims to build this building to help create a society of energy wisdom based on EGAT's 53 years of experience in electricity generation that is environmentally friendly. The design concept is to create a community lung space with an energy-saving architectural building that has received the highest green building standards from Thailand and the United States, and is designed to accommodate everyone in society (Universal Design). The building is designed to use the least amount of energy, has a solar cell system around the building and on the roof of the parking lot, uses a Fresh Air system inside the building to reduce the use of air conditioners, and designs an exhibition route that reduces electricity usage. EGAT Learning Center, Head Office has the following strengths as a learning center for electricity generation and energy conservation in the country: 1. It is the largest exhibition building on electric power in Thailand. 2. It houses the exhibition "Water of Pride". Departing from the headwaters of the forest to the Chao Phraya River, following the mission of generating electricity for the happiness of Thai people, continuing, preserving, developing, and continuing the royal intention of the stream of bright light from the wisdom of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great to the people, demonstrating the relationship between EGAT and the monarchy. 3. It is a national energy-saving building that has received the highest green building standards in the United States and Thailand, and is a learning center for energy-saving prototype buildings in Thailand. 4. It is a learning center to instill knowledge in youth and the public about energy, including electricity production in Thailand, and to create awareness in energy conservation and the environment. 5. It is a community lung space with pollution-free buildings and surrounding green spaces.
