Nong O is a small sub-district in Si Satchanalai District, near Si Satchanalai Historical Park. It is said that most of the villagers in Nong O originally lived in the plains along the Yom River. Most of the transportation used to trade was by boat. This can be seen from the fact that all the Sangkhalok kilns were located along the riverbank.
