"PUSAYAPURI" – A New Landmark Hotel in U Thong, Suphanburi Pusayapuri is a newly opened hotel in U Thong, Suphan Buri, designed with a perfect blend of concept and aesthetics. The hotel weaves historical narratives into a design that is both visually captivating and easy to understand, reinterpreting the complexity of the past in a fresh and engaging way. It invites visitors to explore and appreciate the rich heritage of the ancient Dvaravati land. The name "Pusayapuri" originates from the ancient Indian term "Pusayakiri"—where "Pusaya" means flower, and "Kiri" means mountain—thus translating to "Mountain of Flowers." The bricks seen throughout the hotel are not ordinary bricks but Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC), a material chosen for both aesthetics and durability. GRC allows for versatile shapes and colors while being lightweight, adding both function and beauty to the architecture. "Pusayapuri" was selected as a Finalist in both the Hotel and Creative Re-use categories at the prestigious World Architecture Festival 2023, recognizing its outstanding architectural innovation on a global stage. The hotel features 56 rooms within a 7-story building. One side of the hotel offers views of the lush garden and swimming pool, while the other side overlooks the charming townscape of U Thong. Guests can choose between Deluxe and Suite accommodations. Additionally, Pusayapuri houses a banquet and conference hall named "Pusayasathan", specifically designed to accommodate special events. This versatile space can host up to 400 guests and, on certain occasions, serves as a venue for meditation retreats.
